Dhanyamla Dhara – An Ancient Ayurvedic Treatment

Dhara means pouring liquid medium in a small continuous and constant stream over the body or affected area. Dhanyamla is a ayurvedic treatment specially fermented medicinal preparation. Warm herbal liquid is poured all over the body in rhythmic way using a special vessel. This is done for 45 minutes to 01 hour daily. Dhanyamla is kept lukewarm during the full course of the treatment procedure.

The therapy is very effective in kapha-vata predominant conditions. It helps in compacting obesity, reducing inflammations, and muscular pain and activates nerves. It is a remedy for hemiplegia paralysis, rheumatic complaints also.
